Polaris

ADARA Polaris is designed to create and manage Personal Clouds, for Small Office Home Office (SOHO), WiFi Routers, FemtoCell and Mobile environments (smartphones, tablets, laptops).

ADARA Polaris supports SDN controllers, switches and network functions virtualization (NFV) on a single hardware-agnostic platform.

ADARA Polaris provides the dynamic network function migration from hybrid clouds to personal clouds (SOHO or Mobile), based on service provider or customer configurations and policies.

Performance

ADARA Polaris features the ADARA Transport Protocol (ATP). ATP does not require a peer to function, is superior to standard and enhanced TCP, and supports VPN and all tunneling.

ADARA Polaris greatly reduces the load on RAN (Radio Access Networks). Mobile Back-haul networks. It also greatly reduces the static stovepipe-based feature severe pipelines that are present in many ISP environments.

Ease of Configuration

ADARA Polaris provides NFV and SDN functionalities in Mobile environments without the need for ‘Rooting’ the devices.

ADARA Polaris features auto configuration and centralized monitoring, management and configuration capability via a Web-based GUI, pure HTML client, real-time continuously updated, intuitive, supports virtualized/containerized phones (Ubuntu/Android).
